Ankur Shah

Ankur Shah has a diverse work experience in the field of diagnostics and molecular biology. Ankur is currently serving as the Senior Director of Assay Development at GenMark Diagnostics since February 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Product Development at Truvian from October to December 2021. Before rejoining GenMark Diagnostics in 2020 as the Senior Director of Assay Development, Ankur worked at Hologic, Inc. where they held the roles of Director from August 2018 to August 2020, Principal Scientist from November 2016 to August 2018, and Scientist IV from October 2015 to October 2016.

Ankur also has experience working at Abbott Molecular, where they served as Principal Scientist from December 2014 to September 2015, Senior Scientist from February 2012 to November 2014, and Biologist IV from August 2011 to February 2012.

Prior to their industry roles, Ankur worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Illinois at Chicago from April 2010 to November 2010, and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Rush University Medical Center from September 2007 to March 2010.
