Lisa Davidson

Lisa Davidson has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. Lisa is currently working at GenMark Diagnostics as an Operations Manufacturing Manager. In this role, Lisa manages a team of supervisors and technicians, oversees complex production of diagnostic tests, and collaborates with various departments to drive production and quality targets.

Prior to their current role, Lisa worked at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics for several years. Lisa started as a Senior Production Technician and gradually progressed to the position of Manufacturing Supervisor, where they managed projects and production scheduling. Lisa also served as a Value Stream Manager, coordinating cross-functional teams and overseeing the production of in-vitro diagnostic reagents.

Lisa's early career includes a role as a Technician at VCA Triangle Tower Animal Hospital and a significant experience in the US Navy as a Nuclear Reactor Mechanic. In the Navy, they gained extensive experience in the maintenance, operation, repair, and troubleshooting of reactor plants and steam-electric plants on aircraft carriers.

Throughout their career, Lisa has demonstrated expertise in FDA/ISO regulated manufacturing operations, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and process optimization. Lisa has also been involved in projects to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Lisa Davidson obtained an Associate of Art in General Education from Palomar College in 1997. From 1997 to 1998, they attended Naval Nuclear Power School and Nuclear Prototype Training Unit, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. In 2005, Lisa pursued a Bachelor of Science in Biology with an Animal Science Minor at North Carolina State University, which they completed in 2007. In 2010, they furthered their education by earning a Master of Science degree in Biology with a focus on Physiology from the University of Saint Joseph. Lisa's most recent educational achievement was completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from Liberty University between 2019 and 2021.
