GENNY, a brand symbolising luxury and femininity, entirely Made in Italy, was created in 1962 thanks to the intuition and skills of Arnaldo and Donatella Girombelli. Year after year, it garnered increasing recognition and became sought-after by the female public.
The turning point leading to the brand’s success occurred in 1973 when a young Gianni Versace became GENNY’s designer, setting the stage for years of enduring legacy. Since then, numerous artistic talents like Claude Montana, Dolce and Gabbana as well as Christian Lacroix have contributed to its allure.
In 2011, GENNY joined the Verona-based group SWINGER INTERNATIONAL S.p.A., showcasing over 50 years of managerial prowess, creative growth, and collaborations with major fashion houses.
In 2013, Sara Cavazza Facchini assumed the role of Creative Director of GENNY, and the best interpreter of the brand, thanks to her awareness of female taste and her refined creativity, which knows how to be both contemporary and sartorial.
