Cheryl Simpson

Cheryl Simpson, CPHR has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Cheryl currently holds the position of Human Resources Director at Genoa Design International Ltd. since February 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Human Resources Manager at the same company from February 2020 to August 2020. Cheryl also has experience as the Executive Director at CareGivers from October 2018 to February 2020.

Before joining CareGivers, they worked as the Director of Human Resources at Seafair Capital from October 2013 to October 2018. Prior to that, Cheryl served as the Director of Human Resources at CareGivers Inc / Blue Sky for almost a decade, from February 2009 to June 2018.

Earlier in their career, they worked in various roles including Human Resources - Work Placements at The Amazing Persona from 2005 to 2006, Customer Service Representative at HP Management from 2003 to 2005, Customer Service Representative at Convergys from May 2001 to August 2002, and Computer Systems Educator at Holland College in 2001. Cheryl also worked as a Computer Programmer at Telelink Call Centre from January 2000 to October 2000.

Cheryl Simpson, CPHR, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources from Memorial University of Newfoundland, which they obtained in 2008. In addition, they have a Computer Studies Diploma in Computer Science from Keyin College, which they acquired between 1998 and 2000. Cheryl also holds the certification of Chartered Professional in Human Resources, awarded by the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources on Newfoundland & Labrador in 2012.
