Seth Levine

Engineering Fellow, Process Development, Engineering Science Lead at Genomatica

Seth Levine has a strong background in process development engineering and biochemistry. Seth has worked at Genomatica since 2018, starting as a Senior Process Development Engineer and later becoming the Principal Process Development Engineer and Engineering Science Lead. Prior to that, Seth worked at Nucelis LLC as a Senior Development Engineer, where they provided guidance in biochemical engineering and oversaw fermentation process development. Seth also worked as a consultant in process development, fermentation, bioprocess, and reaction engineering at San Diego, CA. Seth's experience also includes working at BP as a Senior Process Development Engineer and Kineticist, where they developed and maintained kinetic models for biofuels and participated in process development. Seth started their career as a Post-doctoral Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, and also gained experience as a Research & Development Engineering Co-Op at Avery Dennison.

Seth Levine holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University, which they obtained between 2003 and 2008. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies in Chemical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University, earning a BS degree between 1998 and 2003.
