Daniel Rogerson

Chief Scientific Officer at GenomeKey

Daniel Rogerson has worked in the scientific field for the past 10 years. In 2021, they were appointed as the Chief Scientific Officer of GenomeKey. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Manager at UCL Business Ltd from 2019 to 2021, a Synthetic Biology Lead at the UK Ministry of Defence from 2017 to 2019, a Scientist at DNA Electronics from 2016 to 2017, and a Molecular Biology Research Scientist at the Medical Research Council from 2011 to 2016. During their time at the Medical Research Council, they were responsible for biomedical research and biotechnology development, and developed new biotechnologies to allow access to challenging biological products. Daniel also managed projects to take biotechnologies from inception to completion.

Daniel Rogerson obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Leicester between 2008 and 2011. Daniel then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology at the University of Cambridge, which they completed in 2015.
