Daniel Wells is a Senior Lead Scientist in Statistical Genetics at Genomics Ltd., where they develop and assess statistical models for genetically informed risk prediction in complex diseases. With a decade of experience, Daniel has contributed to improving polygenic risk scores and predictive models by integrating genetic and non-genetic risk factors. Previously, they interned at Amazon as a Data Science Intern and held various research positions focusing on cancer genomics, genome engineering, and statistical modeling. Daniel holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Genomic Medicine and Statistics from the University of Oxford.
