Gary McGraw has a diverse work experience spanning over decades. Gary currently works as a PNT & Systems Engineering Consultant at Genova Technologies, starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they retired from Collins Aerospace in May 2022, where they also held the position of PNT & Systems Engineering Consultant.
Gary spent the majority of their career at Rockwell Collins, starting in March 1993. At Rockwell Collins, they held various roles, including Manager of Navigation Technology and Technical Fellow. As a Technical Fellow, they were responsible for leading the positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) technology strategy for the Advanced Technology Center at Rockwell Collins. Gary also oversaw program pursuits and execution for new PNT developments.
Before Rockwell Collins, Gary worked at Aerospace Corp. as an MTS from 1985 to 1993. Prior to that, they were a Group Head at Hughes Aircraft Company from 1983 to 1985 and worked as an MTS at Sperry Flight Systems from 1982 to 1983.
Gary McGraw earned a Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering/Control Systems from UCLA between 1984 and 1989. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering/Math from Iowa State University from 1977 to 1981.
