André started their career as a Researcher at ITQB-UNL, where they completed a PhD in Biochemistry and worked on a project related to recombinant proteins. André then joined NZYTech as a Project Leader, where they designed and implemented a Quality Management System. André also served as a Marketing Manager and Sales Manager at NZYTech, overseeing brand management and strategic planning to achieve sales targets.

After that, André worked as a Business Development Manager at Bioline, managing distribution networks in Europe, LATAM, and Canada. André then joined Meridian Bioscience Inc., where they held the roles of Business Development Manager and Sales Manager, managing the global distribution business for the Life Science Unit.
