Qingyu C.

Qingyu C. has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years in the biotechnology industry. They are currently the Head of Business Development Europe at GenScript ProBio, a role they started in January 2023. Prior to this, they held the same position at GenScript from January 2022 to December 2022. In these roles, Qingyu was responsible for leading the European business development teams and driving innovative solutions in biologics and advanced therapy development.

Before joining GenScript, Qingyu worked at Lonza for 11 years, starting as an Associate Director in Licensing and Technology from January 2010 to August 2012. They then transitioned to the role of Associate Director for Business Development focused on mammalian development services from January 2012 to January 2014. From January 2014 to January 2021, Qingyu served as the Head of Commercial Development for early biologics development, where they provided strategic leadership in commercial strategies, pricing, and business growth forecast.

Prior to Lonza, Qingyu worked as a Business Development Manager at Algonomics from September 2007 to December 2009. Their responsibilities included developing new partnerships and driving business growth. Qingyu gained valuable experience in vaccine market research and new vaccine research at Sanofi Pasteur, where they worked from June 2006 to December 2006.

Qingyu's career in the biotechnology industry began with a Postdoc Fellowship in Immunology at the University of Rochester, which they held from June 2001 to May 2004.

Qingyu C. has an extensive education history in various fields. Qingyu holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from Fudan University. Additionally, they pursued an MBA degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management from emlyon business school. Qingyu also obtained a Master's degree in Applied Microbiology from North West University. Qingyu later pursued further education as a Postdoctoral fellow at the University of Rochester. In addition to their academic achievements, Qingyu has also obtained a certification in "Becoming Head of Sales: Developing Your Playbook" from LinkedIn in May 2021.
