Carlos Zhang

Carlos (Xiaorong) Zhang is currently the Catalogue Product Global Commercial Head at GenScript, a position held since 2024. With extensive experience in the biotechnology industry, they previously worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Leiden University, where they focused on the molecular function of the Agrobacterium tumefaciens virulence protein. Carlos served as a Research Scientist at the Hubrecht Institute, conducting research on cell cycle regulation and developing an auxin-inducible degradation system. They also held various managerial roles at GenScript, overseeing complex projects and driving business development across several regions. Carlos earned a PhD in Molecular Genetics from Leiden University in 2014.
