Emre Kayali

Emre Kayali is a seasoned professional in the field of materials engineering, currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at GenScript since August 2024. Previously, Emre held the position of Team Lead in Surface Chemistry at Switchback Systems, where leadership involved supervising a team focused on microfluidic chip surfaces and establishing Standard Operating Procedures for high-volume manufacturing. Emre's scientific expertise includes developing Chemical Vapor Deposition techniques, proprietary slurries for bioconjugation, and advancing methodologies for colloid nanomaterials at Auburn University, where a Doctor of Philosophy was attained in Materials Engineering. Emre's educational background also includes a Master's degree from TOBB Ekonomi ve Teknoloji Üniversitesi and a Bachelor of Engineering from Hacettepe University, complemented by international academic experience at Università di Pisa.
