Jessica's research specializes in engineering chemical sensing devices for environmental and clinical applications, and their Master’s thesis involves designing and manufacturing portable air sampling devices for monitoring carcinogenic volatile organic compounds in wildfire smoke. Currently employed as a Mechanical Engineer at GenScript, Jessica has previously gained valuable experience as a Teaching Assistant and Project Engineer Intern, enhancing their communication and leadership skills.
