Serene Durham

Serene Durham, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Technical Account Manager II in Key Accounts Management at GenScript since August 2022. Prior to this role, Serene was a PhD candidate at the University at Albany, SUNY, from April 2020 to August 2022, and worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the same institution from 2017 to 2019, instructing courses in various biological laboratories. Serene's earlier experience includes serving as a Quality Control Laboratory Technician at Berkshire Sterile Manufacturing from July 2015 to June 2017, where responsibilities involved laboratory testing and quality control documentation. Additionally, Serene conducted undergraduate research under Dr. Thomas Mennella at Bay Path University from 2014 to 2015, focusing on the effects of Dimethyl Sulfoxide on biomolecule delivery. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University at Albany and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bay Path University.
