Zongzhu Li

Zongzhu (Andrew) Li currently serves as Director at GenScript since May 2025, following a notable tenure at WuXi Biologics where leadership roles included Senior Manager and Head of Downstream Process Development. Responsibilities encompassed downstream process development, process characterization, scaling up, and technology transfer for various drug substances. Previous experience includes significant contributions as a Senior Scientist II and Principal Scientist II, focusing on diverse modalities such as monoclonal antibodies and Nano-Immun complexes. Li also has experience as a manuscript reviewer for reputable scientific journals and served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The George Washington University, specializing in DNA-binding proteins and DNA repair pathways. Academically, Li holds a Ph.D. in Plant Genetics from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Science at The George Washington University.
