John Potts

John Potts has a diverse and extensive work experience. John began their career at Lockheed Martin as a Mechanical Design Engineer. After starting as a summer intern, they transitioned to a full-time position where they gained proficiency in CAD/Solid Modeling/BIM and writing specifications. John then joined the Testing & Integration Team, working on offshore projects for the US Navy.

Following their time at Lockheed Martin, John became the General Manager and State Contractor License Qualifier at Palm Beach Generator. As a founder and co-owner, they specialized in the maintenance and installation of standby generators, serving municipalities and telecom companies.

In 2012, John joined Tampa Armature Works as a Senior Sales Engineer, where they remained until 2022.

Currently, John is the Regional Vice President of Equipment Sales at GenServe LLC, a position they began in October 2021.

John Potts began their education in 1994 at The University of Alabama, where they did not receive a degree and did not specialize in a specific field of study. From 1995 to 1999, they attended Florida Atlantic University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Ocean Engineering.
