Duncan Lyons

Duncan Lyons is a Design Director for Architecture at Gensler’s Washington DC office, where they also serve as a Firmwide Leader of the Commercial Office Building Practice. With a career spanning three decades, Duncan has designed buildings for diverse institutional and commercial clients across the US, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Passionate about high-performance buildings and sustainable design, Duncan became a LEED accredited professional in 2002, with ten projects achieving LEED certification, including three at the platinum level. They earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Bath in England and are a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). Duncan joined Gensler in 2012 after holding positions at SOM and HOK.
