John Cantrell

John Cantrell is a designer and strategist based in Atlanta, with 18 years of experience across brand strategy, creative direction, product design, and more. They have contributed to both large and small creative teams and have been featured in notable publications including Interior Design and Fast Company. John has held various roles, including Designer at HOK and Brand & Marketing Director at Shaw Contract, and currently serves as Strategy Lead at Gensler. Additionally, they have been involved in educational and community initiatives, such as serving on the Advisory Board for the Building Arts Department for SCAD and as a Sustainable Design Advisor for the Georgia Chapter of IIDA. John earned a BFA in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
