Mark Erdly

Mark Erdly is a seasoned professional in architecture and urban design, currently serving as Studio Director and Practice Area Leader of Cities and Urban Design at Gensler since November 2018. Prior to this, Mark held the position of Principal at STUDIOS Architecture, managing the New York office from 2015 to 2017 and the Washington, DC office from 2017 to 2018, leading significant workplace and higher education projects. Experience also includes a tenure as Principal at Cannon Design, where Mark was part of the International Leadership Team, focusing on strategy and practice development in the Middle East and India. Earlier roles include Vice President at HNTB, overseeing Federal Architecture practice, and Project Manager at NAVFAC, where Mark managed large-scale real estate projects. Mark Erdly earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University.
