Peter Schaefer

Peter is a Design Director in Gensler’s Munich office. During his 20 years with Gensler, he has built a portfolio of work that spans across a range of project types around the world, with significant work experience in Germany. Having worked and led a range of projects, from hospitality and public spaces to various workplace industries for technology, media, and professional services clients — with a focus on technology and professional service firms — Peter has helped to create inspiring spaces that foster interaction and connection. His background and passion for architecture are clear in his design work, which is often referred to as having a sculptural approach. Peter’s expertise lies in his ability to lead each stage of a project’s design, from initial concepts through construction. Leveraging his broad range of experience, Peter approaches projects with a holistic view to arrive at solutions from different angles and ensure that each design fulfills any needs a client may have.
