Ryan Ihly

Studio Director, Principal at Gensler

Ryan Ihly is a Studio Director and Principal at Gensler, a global architecture, design, and planning firm. Ryan has over 20 years of experience in the industry, having worked at Barton Myers Associates, Inc., Williams + Paddon Architects + Planners, Inc., and Shubin + Donaldson Architects. Ryan has played an integral role in the design of award-winning projects such as the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles and the Museum of Contemporary Art in San Diego. Ryan is a registered architect in the state of California and a member of the American Institute of Architects.

Ryan Ihly studied at the Rhode Island School of Design, where they received their Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) and Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA). Ryan continued their studies at the University of Southern California, where they received their Master of Real Estate Development (MRED). Ryan is also certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
