Ryan Wells

Ryan Wells is a seasoned professional in design technology with extensive experience across multiple roles and companies. Currently serving as the Design Technology Lead at Gensler since January 2022, Ryan focuses on planning, implementation, and advocacy for data-driven design. Prior to this, Ryan worked at Stantec from July 2014 to December 2021, advancing through several positions including regional digital delivery lead, where responsibilities included BIM planning, compliance, and mentoring. Previous roles also include instructing AutoCAD at BCIT, and various technologist positions at Chris Dikeakos Architects Inc., Project Blueprint Ltd., and Musson Cattell Mackey Partnership, with a strong emphasis on architectural drafting, project management, and systems administration. Ryan holds a Diploma of Technology in Architectural and Building Sciences from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, earned from 2004 to 2006.
