Arden Feil

Biohacker Bootcamp Instructor

Arden Feil is an experienced educator and researcher with a robust background in biology and science education. At Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Arden served as an educator in the DNA Learning Center NYC, teaching molecular biology labs and managing high school research programs. Currently, Arden holds the position of Biohacker Bootcamp Instructor at Genspace NYC, facilitating hands-on courses in DNA and biotechnology for adult learners. Previous roles include teaching science to K-5 students at HYPOTHEkids, conducting research as a specialist at the University of Chicago, and serving in various educational and research capacities at Wesleyan University. Currently, Arden manages the NYC Science Research Mentoring Consortium at the American Museum of Natural History, connecting and supporting programs for high school students from underrepresented backgrounds in STEM. Arden holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Biology from Wesleyan University.
