Benjamin Lucci is a Vacuum Coatings Engineer at Gentex Corp. since October 2021, overseeing engineering aspects of the Vacuum Coatings Manufacturing Cell, including design and process optimization using Plasma Assisted Vapor Deposition for optical coatings. Previously, Benjamin served as an R&D Engineering Specialist at Vitro Flat Glass from October 2016 to August 2021, focusing on sputter coaters and supporting research and production operations. At PPG Industries from August 2013 to September 2016, Benjamin worked as an Engineering Specialist in the Vacuum Coatings Group and as a Chemist, where contributions included the development of award-winning Solarban products and earning a patent for nano-copper application. Early career experiences include roles at HMSHost, Green Oaks Country Club, and a Research Internship at Clarion University, along with education culminating in a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from PennWest Clarion and a Certificate in Nanofabrication Manufacturing Technology from Penn State University.
