Randy Pappal

Randy Pappal is currently the VP, Purchasing & Supply Chain at Gentex. Randy has over 38 years of experience in the corporate world, with their most recent position being Vice President and General Manager, Shape Asia from February 2019 to November 2021. In this role, they were responsible for all Purchasing and Supply Chain activates in Asia Pacific, including working with Chinese JV partners and Japanese alliance companies. Prior to that, they worked as the Executive Director at General Motors from August 1982 to February 2019, where they were responsible for purchasing all Body/Exterior commodities including steel and aluminum.

Randy Pappal received their MBA from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and their BS in Industrial Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology.

They work with Joe Matthews - VP, DE&I, Matt Fox - Vice President of Mechanical Engineering, and Ken Horner - Vice President of Product and Quality. Randy Pappal reports to Steve Downing, President & CEO.
