Tim Bochenek

Tim Bochenek is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in embedded systems and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer for Vision Products at Gentex Corporation since September 2022, Tim focuses on enhancing user experiences through advanced camera integration for improved safety in driving. Previously, as a Senior Software Engineer at Gentex Corporation from 2007 to 2022, Tim led software development for data collection across product lifecycles. Tim's earlier roles include Embedded Software Engineer at General Dynamics, where Tim worked on VxWorks software for chemical warfare detection, and Electrical Engineer at Performance Designs, where Tim contributed to significant improvements in FAA certification timelines. Tim's career began at Burke E. Porter Machinery Co., supporting automotive clients with machine and software design. Tim holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Grand Valley State University.
