Colin Daniel

Colin Daniel is currently a Trading Analyst at GenTrust, a position held since February 2024. Previously, Colin worked as a Data Scientist at HarrisX from June 2023 to September 2023 and contributed as a Data Scientist - Capstone at Dexcom from February 2023 to May 2023, where models were built to predict gaps in blood glucose monitoring and extensive data analysis was conducted using SQL and Big Query. Colin served as a Teaching Assistant for the course 36-200 Reasoning with Data at Carnegie Mellon University from August 2022 to May 2023, facilitating office hours and grading assignments. Earlier experience includes a Finance Intern role at Hunter in 2021, assisting with accounts payable, and positions as Assistant Swim Coach at Westfield Recreation Department and Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at Nomahegan Swim & Tennis Club. Colin holds a Master of Science in Applied Data Science and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, both from Carnegie Mellon University.
