Drew Daycross

Software Engineer at GenUI

Drew Daycross began their career as a software engineer at redfox in July 2012. They were responsible for designing and developing a employee management application for iOS and Android that utilized a cloud system to store user data. They also created a background system for tracking and syncing GPS data to the cloud with minimal battery usage, and implemented a user-defined cross-platform automated form system. In October 2014, Drew moved on to Poppin Games Japan where they worked as a software engineer. They then joined General UI in March 2015, where they specialized in iOS app development and led a team in creating a user-interaction heavy application for Android. Most recently, Drew joined Facebook in September 2018 as a Software Engineer. No end dates are provided for any of their roles.

Drew Daycross obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Japanese Linguistics and Multimedia Design from the University of Washington, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, they pursued a degree in Japanese Linguistics from the same institution, though the duration of this program is unknown.
