Alex Makovetsky

Alex Makovetsky is the CEO of Genus Technologies, a position they have held since December of 2008.

Prior to their current role, Makovetsky served as the Principal at Lowry Technologies from January 1999 to December 2008. In this role, they were responsible for managing business development for services and solutions around the area of Enterprise Content Management and Portals. Alex specialized in IBM Enterprise Content Management and WebSphere Portal technologies and vertical solutions.

Makovetsky also served as the COO at Alekol International from January 1995 to December 1999.

Before that, they were the Product Manager at DataCard Corporation from April 1989 to June 1995.

Makovetsky began their career as a Systems Engineer at General Dynamics from January 1986 to March 1989.

Alex Makovetsky pursued a BS in Electrical Engineering at the University of Minnesota before completing an MBA in Marketing from the University of St. Thomas.
