Brian Burger is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as a Senior Research Manager at Genus PLC since January 2018, Brian has held various roles including Research Manager and Trait Development Scientist. Prior to this, Brian worked at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from October 2009 to December 2017 as an Assistant Scientist and Postdoc, focusing on metabolic diversity in purple non-sulfur bacteria and research into next-generation biofuels. Brian holds a PhD in Biology from UC San Diego, an MS in Plant Molecular and Cellular Biology, and a BS in Botany, both from the University of Florida.
