Clint Nesbitt

Clint Nesbitt serves as the Global Director of Regulatory and External Affairs at Genus PLC since April 2022, bringing extensive experience in regulatory and scientific affairs related to biotechnology. Prior to this position, Clint was the Senior Director of Science & Regulatory Affairs at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization, where responsibilities included managing policies and advocacy for agricultural biotechnology. Clint's career includes significant roles at USDA-APHIS, where oversight encompassed risk assessment and policy development in biotechnology, as well as acting chief of staff roles addressing regulatory matters. With a Ph.D. in Plant Breeding from Cornell University, Clint has contributed to public engagement and scientific policy as a fellow with AAAS and through various outreach initiatives.
