Ruth Nussbaum

Ruth Nussbaum is a hands-on and technical leader in responsible sourcing and agricultural commodity production with over thirty years of experience. As a co-founder and the Executive Director of Proforest, Ruth oversees efforts aimed at delivering positive outcomes for climate, nature, and people. Ruth has also served as a Director of the FSC-accredited SGS Qualifor Forest Certification programme and holds board positions at GenZero and the Climate and Land Use Alliance. Additionally, Ruth led the UNESCO-funded Rainforest Rehabilitation Programme from 1990 to 1995.
