Jim Alferman

Jim Alferman has a comprehensive work experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. Jim started their career as a Biochemist at Reliable Biopharmaceutical Corp. in 1992, and subsequently held roles as a Biochemist and Key Account Manager at Sigma-Aldrich from 1995 to 2000. From 2000 to 2011, Jim worked as a Business Development Manager at Sigma-Aldrich. Jim then joined Procelys - Lesaffre Fermentation Nutrients in 2011, where they served as the Biotech Sales Manager for North America until 2017. Currently, Jim is the Associate Director of Business Development at Sekisui Diagnostics, LLC, leading the expansion of their site in the UK to offer CDMO services to the biopharmaceutical industry.

Jim Alferman received their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1991. Jim then went on to complete their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing at Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School from 1993 to 1997.
