John Casey

John Casey has over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. John began their career at PerkinElmer in 1996 as an Engineering Manager, where they worked on sensors and cameras for Applied Biosystem's ABI PRISM 3700 DNA Sequencers, cameras for the AH-64 Apache Helicopter, and a high-speed TDI CCD image sensor for reticle inspection for KLA-Tencor. In 2001, they moved to Pixim Inc. as an R&D Characterization Manager, where they developed a method of operating a novel technology to support low light and high dynamic range operation, full sensor and camera characterization, and image processing evaluation. In 2003, they joined Micron Technology Inc. as a Marketing Director, where they drove initial major design wins at Nokia, SEMC, Samsung and LGE, and managed global teams and acted as the Senior business interface with the company’s largest customer, Motorola. In 2007, they joined Aptina Imaging as a Senior Director of Marketing, where they lead a team consisting of Strategic Marketing, Product Marketing/Management, and Segment Marketing professionals focused on two of Aptina’s highest growth markets, Automotive and Surveillance imaging, and achieved major design wins in Automotive ADAS systems, Backup, Surround View, and Blind-spot Detection cameras. In 2013, they joined GEO Semiconductor, Inc. as Vice President and General Manager Automotive.

John Casey graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
