Steven Ha

Steven Ha has a strong background in embedded systems and firmware engineering. Steven is currently working as an Embedded Systems Software Engineer at GEO Semiconductor, Inc. since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Embedded Firmware Engineer at Inertia Product Development from August 2022 to January 2023. Steven also gained experience in hardware engineering at NERv Technology from January 2021 to January 2022. Steven has expertise in DSP firmware engineering from their time at Infinera from May 2020 to August 2020. Steven was a Software Team Member at the University of Waterloo Robotics Design Team from September 2018 to April 2020. Additionally, they have experience in embedded hardware development as an Embedded Hardware Developer at AOMS Technologies from September 2019 to December 2019. Steven has also worked in embedded and software engineering roles at Pegasus Aeronautics Corporation from January 2019 to April 2019, and from May 2018 to August 2018. Steven Ha has a background in mechanical engineering as well, having worked as a Mechanical Member at UW Sailbot from December 2017 to April 2018, and as a Mechanical Team Member at Robot in 3 Days at the University of Waterloo in January 2018.

Steven Ha completed their education from 2013 to 2017 at Bloor Collegiate Institute, where they obtained an Ontario Secondary School Diploma. During their time there, they participated in the TOPS on Bloor Program, which focused on sciences.

From 2017 to 2022, Steven attended the University of Waterloo, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Steven Ha also obtained certifications outside of their academic studies. In August 2016, they achieved the Royal Conservatory of Music Level 10 Piano certification from The Royal Conservatory of Music. Furthermore, they hold the Certified Associate - Mechanical Design (CWSA) certification from Dassault Systèmes, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
