Jon Stanley is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in software development and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Geocaching HQ since March 2009, Jon has held various roles including System Analyst and Community Relations-Project Management Liaison, while managing test plans and overseeing the release process for web sites. Prior to this, Jon spent over 13 years at Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer in Test, leading testing efforts for studio simulations. Jon's early career included roles as a Software Tester at Volt Technical Resources and as a Research Technician at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Santa Clara University and studies at the University of Washington.
