Lan Luo

Lan Luo is a Senior Software Engineer at GeoComply since June 2023, previously serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Alibaba Group from September 2014 to October 2020. During tenure at Alibaba Group, Lan Luo led the exploration, design, and training of default prediction and anti-fraud models, optimized data architecture and pipelines for large-scale distributed systems, and mentored junior engineers. Additional roles included Software Engineer II, focusing on end-to-end management of machine learning systems, and Software Engineer, where responsibilities included optimizing online learning models and developing internal tools for metrics visualization. Lan Luo holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
