Travis Jowell

Travis Jowell is a seasoned GIS professional with extensive experience spanning over a decade. Currently serving as a GIS Integration Specialist at GeoComputing Group LLC since September 2025, Jowell previously held the position of GIS Support Software Engineer at SSP Innovations, LLC from September 2020 to September 2025. Prior to that, Jowell was at Halliburton - Landmark, where responsibilities included being the Agile solution lead for DecisionSpace GIS product delivery and serving as both the DecisionSpace GIS Test Lead and DecisionSpace GIS Software Tester from June 2012 to May 2020. Jowell’s career began with an internship at Esri during the 2011 User Conference. Academically, Jowell holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science with a focus on Spatial Science from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Baylor University.
