Jonas R.

Jonas R. has a diverse work experience starting in 2007. Jonas worked as a Medarbeider at MENY from March 2007 to October 2010, and then joined KIWI minipris as a Medarbeider from October 2010 to August 2013. In 2014, they worked as a Summer Intern at Statens vegvesen and later became a Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse from October 2014 to May 2015. In 2015, Jonas worked as an Avdelingsingeniør at Statens vegvesen, where they were responsible for various tasks related to geodata. Jonas joined Spatial Services GmbH as a Spatial Analyst from September 2017 to June 2018. In the same year, they also worked as a Researcher at Z_GIS - Department of Geoinformatics, University of Salzburg from October 2017 to June 2018. Jonas then started their own company, Rugtvedt Geoservice, where they worked as a Proprietor from February 2017 to April 2021. Jonas'smost recent position is at Geodata AS, where they have worked as a GIS Consultant from February 2019 to January 2021, as a System Developer from January 2021 to March 2023, and currently holds the position of Senior System Developer starting from March 2023.

Jonas R. completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Applied Geoinformatics from Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg between 2016 and 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Geography: GIS from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, which they completed from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Jonas also earned two certifications. In 2017, they obtained the "Geospatial Information Service for Humanitarian Action and Emergency Response" certification from the University of Salzbury - Z_GIS. In 2010, they completed the "Aspect Foundation High School Program" certification through the Aspect Foundation.
