Adam Close

Adam Close is an experienced operations manager with a demonstrated history in logistics and supply chain management. Currently serving as the Operations Manager for Air/Ocean at GEODIS since December 2020, Adam has previously held multiple roles at Damco, including Intermodal Procurement Manager and Ocean Import Operations Manager, from March 2012 to October 2020. Adam's career began at Lufthansa Cargo as an Import Agent, followed by a position as a U.S. Customs Inspector at U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Additionally, Adam worked as a Logistics Coordinator for General Noli USA from June 2005 to March 2012. Adam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University at Albany, earned between 1996 and 2000, and graduated from Archbishop Molloy High School in 1996.
