John Lower

John Lower is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in transportation and logistics, currently serving as Vice President at GEODIS since July 2021. Previously, John held the position of Vice President of Velocity Freight Transport at McLane Company, Inc., where a successful start-up and growth led to achieving $50 million in gross revenue within three years. Prior roles include Director of Strategic Carrier Management at Transplace, General Manager of Transportation Services at Transfreight, and Director of Transportation Procurement at Schneider Logistics, managing substantial freight volumes and multi-million dollar contracts. John’s career began in the United States Army as a Captain in the Transportation Corps, demonstrating leadership and operational expertise. John holds a BA in History and English from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Cameron University.
