Lars Thompson currently serves as the General Counsel for Europe at GEODIS, focusing on legal, insurance, and compliance matters. With a solid background in pro bono legal services for US citizens overseas since 2006, Lars specializes in various areas, including family, criminal, military, tax, and civil law. Previous roles include Regional Counsel for EMEA and APAC at Syncreon, as well as interim legal counsel positions at multiple corporations such as Tech Data and Bombardier. Lars’s extensive experience includes working as a senior associate in international product liability and finance, as well as managing legal departments for international corporations. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Cooley Law School and an LL.M in German Comparative Law from the University of Regensburg, among other degrees.
