Bowei Yu

Bowei Yu is a highly skilled professional in geotechnical and civil engineering, currently serving as the Technical and R&D Lab Manager at Geofabrics Australasia since October 2023. With expertise as a NATA Technical Assessor since February 2022 and previous experience as a Geotechnical Engineer at Alliance Geotechnical from October 2020 to October 2023, Bowei Yu has a strong background in practical and research roles in the field. Earlier positions include serving as a Research Associate and Research Assistant at the University of Sydney from November 2019 to September 2020. Bowei Yu holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil Engineering from the University of Sydney, achieved between 2016 and 2020, and a Master of Engineering in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering from Southeast University, completed in 2016, following a Bachelor of Engineering in Geotechnical Engineering from the same institution in 2013.
