Chris Rivest

Chris Rivest is a Partner at Breakthrough Energy Ventures since June 2017, focusing on investments in innovative companies addressing climate change with over $2 billion in committed capital. In addition to this role, Chris serves as an Investor and Board Member at GeologicAI, Nobell Foods, Nature's Fynd, and Turntide Technologies, among others. Chris is also a Founding Investor and Chairman of the Board at Graphyte and ArkeaBio. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and completed a Doctor of Philosophy candidacy in Mechanical and Bioengineering at the University of California, Berkeley.
