Max Usachev

Max Usachev has over 10 years of work experience in the software engineering field. In 2009, they participated in Google's Summer of Code program, porting the Mnemosyne learning tool to the Maemo platform. From 2010 to 2012, they worked at Kanda Software as a Python Developer, where they developed GUI parts of the XLIFF Editor, integrated threads to improve performance of long-time operations, and maintained packages for the QA team. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Wargaming.net as a Python Developer, where they designed and developed a new internal payment system and configured a continuous integration system. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Juno Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they designed and developed onboarding systems, backoffice systems, and internal Python packages. From 2017 to 2018, they worked at PandaDoc as a Software Engineer, where they migrated the monolithic application to a microservice architecture, migrated all services to Docker, and designed and implemented a company-wide CI/CD approach based on GitLab. From 2018 to 2019, they worked at Flo Health Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they optimized the existing CI/CD process, built a CI/CD process for the Android application, and created a tool to launch and manage subscription experiments for mobile applications. Since 2019, they have worked at KitchenHub Inc. as the Chief Technology Officer, where they created and configured a CI/CD process for backend services and mobile applications, and designed and implemented a microservice architecture for the product based on the Google Cloud ecosystem. Most recently, since 2022, they have worked at GeoPhy as a Software Engineer, where they have introduced and implemented GitLab CI/CD pipelines, integrated security scanning tools into the CI/CD pipeline, and developed a Trivy plugin to post results into SonarQube.

Max Usachev attended Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics from 2006 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Artificial Intelligence.
