John Pring is currently the Chapter Chair for the ACT and Region at the Australian Citizen Science Association, a role held since 2018. With extensive experience in project management at Geoscience Australia since 2007 and previous work as a Business Solution Manager at Centrelink from 2001 to 2007, they advocate for the integration of Citizen Science to enhance traditional scientific methodologies. John is pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Management (Project Management) and a Graduate Diploma in Defence Studies at UNSW, building on a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Southern Queensland earned between 1986 and 1989.
