Tim Evans

Tim Evans is a highly experienced hydrogeologist with a diverse background in geological consulting and project management. Since February 2013, Tim has served as a Hydrogeologist at Geoscience Australia, leading significant projects such as the Cooper and Beetaloo Geological Bioregional Assessments and the Galilee Bioregional Assessment, focusing on the environmental impacts of coal and petroleum developments on water resources. Previously, from January 2005 to January 2013, Tim was the Director at Terra Geoscience Pty Ltd, providing consulting services to various sectors. Tim’s earlier roles include Senior Geologist/IT Manager at Purus Energy Ltd and Geologist positions at AMC Consultants and Reef Mining NL, where notable achievements include the discovery of the Nick O’ Time gold deposit. Tim holds a Master’s in Hydrogeology and Groundwater Management from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor's (Honors) in Geology/Earth Science from Federation University Australia.
