Min-Te Chen

Min-Te Chen is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in paleoceanography and paleoclimatology, currently serving as a Distinguished Professor and Director of the Institute of Earth Sciences at National Taiwan Ocean University since August 1994. Chen has held notable positions, including being the Dean of the College of Ocean Science and Resource and participating in various editorial roles such as Associate Editor for Lithosphere and Paleoceanography and Paleoclimatology. Key contributions include research as a Visiting Scholar at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and coordination in international marine global change studies. Chen earned a Ph.D. in Geological Sciences from Brown University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from National Taiwan University.
