Brian Russell

Brian Russell is a seasoned petroleum geophysicist with nearly 50 years of experience in the field. They began their career at Chevron in 1975 and co-founded Hampson-Russell Software in 1987. After serving as Vice President at CGG from 2001 to 2021, they currently hold the position of Vice President at GeoSoftware. They have also contributed to education as a high school teacher and have held various senior roles at notable companies throughout their career. Brian's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Geophysics from the University of Calgary and multiple degrees in Geophysics and Physics.
