Barry Basile

Barry Basile is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in developing and implementing advanced electrical and computer system architectures. Currently serving as a Development Engineer at Geospace Technologies since August 2013, Barry focuses on enhancing performance and managing costs in electrical engineering projects. As a Consulting Technologist at Digital Ordnance Storage, Inc., since January 2013, Barry contributes to high-speed storage solutions for big data enterprise computing. Previously, at Hewlett-Packard from 1999 to 2012, Barry held roles including Master Technologist, overseeing architecture for complex programmable logic device designs and serving as vice-chairman of the PCI-SIG PCI Hot-Plug Workgroup. Barry's career also includes significant roles at Compaq Computer Corporation and various engineering positions at organizations such as NL McCullough, Sperry Univac, Digitool Corporation, Boeing Aerospace Corporation, and McDonnell-Douglas Corporation. Barry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Louisiana Tech.
